Books In the Barn is a book club for children, designed to introduce and promote the fun of reading. Pawsitive Steps dog Boone joins the small group as we read a horse-themed story, complete a related creative activity, and enjoy a snack. Then we meet Pawsitive Steps horse Biskit, Chicago, and/or Rusty, to learn a little about horses, up close and personal.

Books In the Barn activities take place in the (heated) barn of Four Sticks Farm. Because we meet in the barn and spend some time with the horses, washable play clothes are encouraged!

Participants go home with a copy of the book we've read, their craft project, a bit of information about horses, and some fun memories. The fee for the program is $25.00.

Books In the Barn generally meets on the second Saturday of the month, but we will be taking a break during the coldest months of the year. Please check the back soon for our 2012 schedule.
